Preparing the PDF merge tool…

What it solves

One document, in the order you decided.

This merge PDF tool combines several documents while showing you every page before joining. You reorder pages across files, rotate sideways scans and drop unwanted pages — then export one clean PDF. The files are processed on your device and never uploaded.

The merged copy is a rebuilt document: interactive form fields, attachments and digital signatures from the source files are not carried into it, and the tool says so before you export.

Common uses

01

Assemble a delivery

Join an invoice, its delivery note and photo evidence into one file for the client.

02

Fix a contract pack

Combine a contract with its appendices and move the terms to the exact position they belong.

03

Consolidate scans

Merge separate scanned batches, rotate the sideways pages and remove the blank separators.

Quick instructions

From loose files to one PDF.

  1. 01Add the PDF files in roughly the order you want; you can add more at any point.
  2. 02Arrange the board: drag pages or use the arrow buttons, rotate scans, and remove what should not ship.
  3. 03Merge, check the verified page count, and download the single document.

Limits to know

Honest before you export.

  • 01

Complex PDFs can contain fonts, signatures, forms, layers or active content that a browser tool cannot preserve perfectly; keep the original and review the exported copy.

  • 02

All operations create a new download. The source file on the device is never overwritten.

  • 03

Very large or image-heavy files are limited by the memory and processing capacity of the current device.

Questions people ask

Merge PDF FAQ.

01Does Merge PDF upload my PDF?

No. The document bytes stay in the browser and processing runs on the device. OCR may download its recognition engine and language model, but the PDF itself is not sent with that download.

02Will the original PDF be changed?

No. The studio works non-destructively and produces a new download. Keep the original until you have reviewed the exported copy.

03Are there PDFs this browser tool cannot process?

Yes. A damaged file, unsupported encryption, huge scan, complex XFA form, uncommon font or signed document can require desktop specialist software. The studio reports a failure or limitation instead of silently inventing a result.
